Abstract

This paper takes you through the rise and fall of one of the most powerful
terrorist organizations to have ever been formed: The Tamil Tigers. The Tamil Tigers were based in Sri Lanka and owned their own army, navy, and air force. Their fierce leader (Velupillai Prabhakaran) had a goal to give his people independence, but his never ending lust for power would lead to the group's downfall.
